Gas

Vemex Energie, a.s. focuses on the supply of natural gas to medium-sized and large customers, and beginning in mid-2010 it plans to extend its operations to include Czech households as well.

The final price of natural gas supply consists of two parts - regulated and unregulated. The regulated component of the final price cannot be influenced by the end customer, since it is set by the Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ) and represents the price for the transportation and distribution of natural gas. The unregulated component of the price of natural gas supply (price for storage in underground tanks and for the commodity itself) offers a chance of savings for the end customer, who can influence the price by changing suppliers.

Payment for gas supply consists of two parts:

  • Regulated part - payment for distribution - regulated by ERÚ
  • Unregulated part - payment for a commodity - price of the commodity depends on the trader´s offer

Vemex Energie, a.s. prepares for its potential customers either a Contract for combined services of gas supply or else a separate Contract for the supply of gas (when customers arrange a distribution contract themselves).
